Individual Advisement

Individual advisement from experienced college advisors helps students identify and develop appropriate prospective colleges and undergraduate programs as well as build strong student profiles and academic resumes for college and university applications.

With expert, one-on-one guidance, students develop, revise, and improve their personal statements and supplemental essays for college applications, creating unique, engaging, and memorable narratives that leave a powerful impression upon college admissions counselors.

Students will also roadmap the college application process to effectively plan their next steps in the college application process in order to meet upcoming deadlines. Families can also opt for guidance in completing financial aid applications.

College Essay Building & College Application Sessions

In a series of small group sessions led by seasoned college advisors, participants will explore the tenets of what makes a compelling college essay. College-bound students will then develop, revise, and improve their personal statements and supplemental essays for college applications, creating unique, engaging, and memorable narratives that leave a powerful impression upon college admissions counselors.

Admissions Workshops

Facilitated by our experienced college advisors, admissions workshops are provided to high school students to build their understanding of academic criteria that they need to fulfill for entry to various competitive colleges and universities. Participants will learn what is needed to make them the most compelling college and university candidates for Early Action, Early Decision, and Regular Decision admissions.

College Round-Tables

We coordinate college round tables and admissions sessions with public and private competitive colleges and universities that offer an intimate look at admissions criteria, curriculum, majors and minors offered, study abroad opportunities, financial aid, and student life on various campuses.

Financial Aid Sessions

In small and large group sessions led by seasoned college advisors, students and families learn about the various forms of financial aid---scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study---as well as appropriate methods of applying for state and federal aid for higher education and post-secondary programs. Over several workshops, families become acquainted with and learn to complete various financial aid applications including the FAFSA, TAP application, CSS Profile, and IDOC.
